It’s the love story of a stuntman and a supermodel(as the promos say).
Simrita played by kareena kapoor does modeling to fund her medical studies . her model friend amrita (kaamini) marries akshay’s friend lucky(aftab who is also a stuntsman ) and thus begins the war of simrita and viraj(akshay).
Sim looks down upon stuntsmen as they act as body double and who she believes has low iq level . because of viraj and simrita’s constant fights kaaamini and aftab drift apart . akshay feels guilty and during one of the stunts hurts himself and has to be operated . simrit who by now has become a surgeon has to operate on viraj . when post operation , she checks her x-ray reports she finds her watch in viraj’s intestine. Akshay on the other hand is going mad hearing chants of mangalam bhagwana Vishnu , mangalam garuda dhwaja .. that plays in the watch every hour and is at wit’s end thinking where the sound comes from . simrita wants to correct her mistake and operate upon viraj again and viraj wants to teach simrita a lesson . how and under what circumstances they fall in love is for you to watch .
Kareena shows her acting prowess when she tells akshay in adrunken stupor why she hates men . the moment where her expression changes from a smile to tear ful eyes is the best scene in the movie according to me .
Sylvestor stallone has an award to give to viraj and a speech to deliver . he comes back again at the end at quite an unexpected moment. Denisse Richards doesn’t sizzle the screen much as was expected. It was amrita arora who stole the show in a variety of bikinis and short dresses .
Kirron kher as dolly masi is quite good but has nothing much to do . keswani played by javed jaffrey is loud and irritating at all times . boman irani plays a deaf doctor and his presence is quite unnecessary .
Songs are good looking and beautifully choreographed . the slow number where kareena realizes that she loves viraj is quite good .
Gals can check out kareena’s costume which are all quite awesome but reveals her dreadfully thin structure . but she sizzles in the black swimsuit . guys can always check out amrita arora .
